I went live last night on Substack for our latest podcast episode, "You Cannot Shame Your Way Home." Out loud, in your ears, there was nowhere to hide. But I had to say it: we keep trying to punish ourselves into becoming someone we'll finally love. And it has never once worked. (I’ll drop the podcast link in the comments below if you want to listen to the full replay.) But today is Friday. And inside The Menopause Map, Friday means we stop looking at what’s broken and we celebrate how we supported ourselves.
At this stage of life, the small things aren't small. They’re the whole victory.
We aren't looking for "I ran a marathon" today. We’re looking for the quiet, honest micro-wins that actually build a floor to stand on:
- 💧 I drank enough water before reaching for more coffee.
- 🛑 I said an honest "no" to protect my energy.
- 🌳 I stepped outside and took a breath of actual air.
- 🧘♀️ I let go of one expectation I’d been tightly gripping all week.
Your body doesn't need more punishment today. It needs you to notice where you gave it a handrail.
