The Hub is Performing well inside Skool Search
I have some news for you. The Garden creator Hub is performing very well inside the Skool search called discovery. Out of 727 results, we are now found on page 1 at position 10 for the search term vegetable gardening. We are also at number 14 for the search term organic garden. Our BIGGEST AND BEST is that we are positioned at number 26 under the Hobbies category. This is huge! New members who are coming in from Skool will mostly look around, feel it out, and see if it's for them. I want to thank all the founding members who have stuck with me here and helped it to become what it is right now. It's still early days and is just two months old now. It's an amazing feat that we have all achieved together to make it what it is today. I am very grateful and want to thank God, as it was him who encouraged me to start and build this amazing community. Lots of love to you all Marty
Forgotten Skills
I have just watched a very interesting video on YouTube, I'll leave the link here. For myself, I obviously ignored the 'animal/meat' parts, but the rest, is very relevant to today. Where I live, a small town with probably less than 300 people, it's very relevant. That makes me sad. There is one so called supermarket in town, more of a general store, in my opinion with exorbitant prices because of freight costs. The nearest town is 25km away and has a small Foodland, that's about it. I don't believe that there are many veggie gardens here, a handful at best. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ae4liKx3kF4
Potatos
Hello again everyone. Such a sad story to tell today. I never have any luck with my creamy Dutch potatos. The dreaded 28 spotted lady beetle comes along and desecratesb my plants, everytime! I pulled up the potatoes yesterday and to my astonishment received my worst harvest yet. @Marty Ware perhaps you can offer some friendly advice. The soil looked healthy, most of the organic matter had been eaten by the worms, there were still a few worms in the soil. I add minerals to the soil. It is possible that they need more water but everything I show you is all in a row running on a drip line and as you can see everything else is getting enough water.

Blueberries!
Christmas came early this year when I was taken to a different garden center and I stumbled on this one blueberry plant amongst the other berries, I asked if it they had others I could chose from but they confirmed what I had knows its probably the only one in SA (as there was issues with supply this season) so I get to try again since my last plant didn't like its move to a new pot, but it had to be done as it was falling apart. So we start again I'll start prepping the soil , wish me luck! I think i got this but being the unicorn of the garden centers lately, i feel a lot of responsibility!
