Some serious rain last night. Rain gage and wheelbarrow both full of water. The bales are soaked and my dry compost pile is nice and wet. We really needed this! Moved the Quail to high ground as more rain is predicted for today! Mini swale worked near the fruit trees Happy days!

This is great forecast for the coming Christmas, definitely going to hot in my part of Australia. I am just planning for Autumn now as it's my best time if the year for gardening and making compost

Here I have lettuce seeds. I am saving a few, planting a few and then spreading the rest around my gardens. I have some weird radishes and I am trying to seed save with them but they are not going to seed unfortunately. What seeds are you saving?

I have just watched a very interesting video on YouTube, I'll leave the link here. For myself, I obviously ignored the 'animal/meat' parts, but the rest, is very relevant to today. Where I live, a small town with probably less than 300 people, it's very relevant. That makes me sad. There is one so called supermarket in town, more of a general store, in my opinion with exorbitant prices because of freight costs.
