What is The Dugout Collective
The Dugout Collective is a no-nonsense baseball community built for coaches, players, and families who want the game taught the right way. This isn’t hype or shortcuts. It’s real development, leadership, and standards. We’re bringing together high-level coaches from across the baseball world 🧠⚾, a true collective with the goal to share proven systems, honest insight, and practical knowledge that helps athletes perform and families understand the process. If you value fundamentals, accountability, and long-term growth over trends…you’re in the right dugout. 🏆 Remember to head to the introduction tab and let us know who you are
Games
I know the category is wins as a team we lost but for me I had my cartalige scoped just 2 weeks ago and I’m usually a jv player but since it’s my first game of the season and just got back they moved me to reserve I played mostly the full game there and my knee has no pain so I count it as a win does anybody have advice what I can’t count as a small win next I have practices all week and trying to go off the mound for the first time since the surgery
Pre-game/ recovery
Does anybody have a pregame routine like any on the lines of like cupping, scrapping, needles, stims, etc. Not like bands and stuff you would do with your team and does anybody have a recovery they do on there own like cold therapy, red light, massage, sauna, etc. I’m trying to get ideas this season to help with my performance wether I have a game the next morning or the next week
Blessing
I have been blessed with the opportunity that some people aren’t I have the opportunity to work and save enough to go to camps and showcases and get recognized I was just checking with some college guys and coaches what are our thoughts on money over skill cause I can not take this job work my butt off and get recognized for my prospects team but my mom says if I wanna do showcases it’s coming out of my own wallet no obviously I have a 1st job saving for college but I don’t know if I take the second job to pay for recruiting when I could be getting better?
