Great Freelancer Find - Auto DM from DM-Champ (Lifetime Deal)
So I'm always looking for decent deals, sometimes lifetime ones, and this one might be worth taking a look at. It gives you the ability to use multiple channels, whether that's Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, or text messages. I went to one of their videos, and it seems like it can do a lot of things that are on autopilot. You are able to give it context so it would know how to behave and interact, and it also looks like it is very comparable to ManyChat Here is the link to the deal: appsumo.8odi.net/m4N4r7 It also looks like it supports white labeling, which means that you're able to potentially even add this to your client's page as a potential service that you would offer. Here are my takes on why you, as a freelancer, might want this. 👉 It emulates a human response (pauses don't supply an instant answer) 👉 You supply it with context about your business and your offer. 👉 White labeling, the potential to sell this to your current clients with a set-up recurring fee 👉 The ability to have a lead that is on your platform and able to instantly interact with that person Attached is a video of the founder.

New Freelancer Directory on The Code Zone Skool
I'm putting together a freelance directory so that it can be searchable, and I can point people to it. If you are interested in something like this, send me a direct message or post below, and I'll reach out. I want to be able to capture what you do and who would be the best fit for you. That way, when people need services done, they have a good point of contact. But as I said, message me, and I will give you the details on getting listed on there. https://www.skool.com/the-code-zone/classroom/7f56abcf?md=e3fe2e05ebc04a718404768007e82db0

Starting a tech career in a new country can be really tough
I’ve been working in IT for around 10 years, mostly doing freelance development and remote projects. A couple of friends of mine immigrated to the US about two years ago. At the beginning it was really difficult for them to find stable work. They didn’t have much experience in IT freelancing and didn’t really know how platforms like Upwork or Fiverr worked. Since I had been working in freelancing for a long time, I helped them learn how things work — from technical skills to understanding how freelance platforms operate. At first they just worked on small projects, but slowly they gained confidence and experience. Eventually they were able to find stable remote jobs. Seeing that progress was honestly really rewarding. It made me think about how many people might be in a similar situation — wanting to succeed but feeling stuck or not knowing where to start. Has anyone here gone through something similar when starting their career or moving to a new country? I’d be interested to hear other people’s experiences.
How do you stop a client that is having scope creep?
So you agreed to work on this project for a client, and it seems like every time you go back to that client, they just keep adding more and more things to the original design and concept. How do you politely tell them that it is creeping out of scope for what the project was originally bid for? Has this happened to anyone? What did you do?
🤔 Client wants you to bill hourly vs project based
Have you had a client who wanted to pay you hourly, even though you prefer a flat rate? And what do you say? Do you go with it and bill them at an hourly rate? Or do you provide a quality statement explaining why you prefer the flat rate over hourly? Is this a deal breaker? Put your thoughts down below...
