Python Test files
I am currently using a website called OpenClassRooms.com and they have exercises that you can do after each lesson. I am having a difficult time using the Python test files that they have created. I have attached a Word file and a text file with more details (commands, code, etc) of the process I have to go through in order to use the Python test files from the OpenClassRooms website. I would very much appreciate any advice, tips, and recommendations. Because it is currently quite a hassle for me just to be able to use their Python test files. 😒

I’ll take a look at these later today. I know @Tyler Michl loves python.

Build a MathBot: JavaScript Certification FreeCodeCamp
I just released this video going over the math object with FreeCodeCamp's module. If anybody is interested, here is the link to the video. Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/9Q2952wjwNI?views The modules are going to cover: - Math.random - Math.ceil - Math.floor - Math.round And I can't verify this for truth, but they even threw in one of those things that my kids say something about 6-7. 🤷🏼‍♂️ And if you're interested in the course link so you can follow along and get credit for it, here it is. 👉 https://www.freecodecamp.org/learn/javascript-v9/workshop-mathbot/step-1 Tagging the FreeCodeCamp Members in here: @Per Ostojin @Netra Rawat @Douglas Hulcombe @Kristoper John Ballester @Ouail Aida @John Mckinley @Mary Mikhael @Daniel Mbwani @Heith Harjo @Ricardo Gonzalez @Silva Machava @Amira Hollman @Luiz Miguel @Jayden Walker @Scott Peters @David Taylor @Cameron Phillips

Challenge!
Can you make a number guessing game using just Python? I'll be uploading the code for that next week

That is a really good challenge to do in any language as well. Matter of fact, on the YouTube channel, I have kind of given you a walkthrough if you get lost. If anyone gets stuck: https://youtu.be/buuhohu1wDk
Welcome Everyone Introduce Yourself! 🥳
🚨 [Update: As you read some of these introductions, smash THEIR LIKE BUTTON 👍 Take it one step further by commenting on their introduction to earn bonus points and unlock more features in this group.]🚨 I am thankful to you all for joining this group. Could you please introduce yourself? Not only does this allow us to get to know everyone, but SKOOL is built on points. (Liking, Commenting, and Posting all give you points). Points will also unlock classroom courses for you! Check out the Getting Started Welcome Course: https://swiy.co/getting-started So let's get things started! When I was teaching in the classroom, we would go around the room and have you do the following. 1. State Your Name (Skool does this one for us - lol) 2. What had you been interested in learning to code? 3. What is your favorite potato? Me: What sparked my interest was my enjoyment of problem-solving and making life easier for myself. I wanted to learn how to create apps that could help my kids learn math and spelling, so I developed apps for that purpose. As far as a favorite potato. I would say Chick-fil-A fries. 🔥 As always, help this community grow. Skool gives you a special invite code. This also serves as your affiliate code, as being part of this group gives you the ability to earn a 40% commission. This applies to one-time purchases of courses or our premium membership.

@Per Ostojin Welcome to the group! And you're right sometimes I feel like I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up lol!

@M M Welcome to the group - that's awesome that you are learning all this stuff at so young. I, like you, was intrigued by programming, and I took as many programming classes as I could in high school. That even allowed me to program my calculator to help me with math tests and physics tests.
Are You Currently Using FreeCodeCamp?
So I was wondering if I could get comments down below, if you are doing the following. 1. Currently active in FreeCodeCamp modules 2. What module are you currently in the FreeCodeCamp ecosystem? I'm just trying to get an idea, so we could potentially get an accountability group together, and if you're stuck on something, maybe we need a category just for freecodecamp questions. Also, just so everyone is aware, we have in the classroom freecodecamp guided walkthroughs of a lot of their material for HTML/CSS and a few for ReactJS and JavaScript. It auto-unlocks at level 2 in our community, so make a comment and get 5 likes, or make 5 comments and get 5 likes...lol. What are your thoughts?

@Rachael Surber That is good to hear! I always think it's neat to look back on what you did a couple months ago and then look at you now. Big difference!
