My portfolio with (cursor ai)
Today I make a portfolio website with cursor ai I just give 4 line prompt and I am shocked that the ai make that responsive and good looking website with the animations But I think you still need a knowledge of coding and languages because some that you are thinking you cannot express that properly in word and there you need to write your own code and if you got any error while ai is generating and you don’t know coding so you are stacked let me know what you think about that. I think AI is a great rubber duck when learning and can introduce concepts and ideas for you to research and explore. I find most technology shines in areas that are already known. AI is great at general language and translation, it can be an amazing search engine and can play a predefined role. But I find it constraining to work with, with little logical creativity. For me programming is a creative endeavor. To be creative you must leave the safety of what is normal. With AI it locks onto something in a prompt and doesn't let go, causing you to repeat a conversation and hope it locks onto the thing you actually want. You can branch off conversations with AI, but you never really know when it locked onto the wrong thing. When its moving in the right creative direction it isn't logical. So you'll often find areas that feel uncanny or just plain wrong in its decisions. One example of this is asking AI if you should walk or drive to get your car washed a 10 min walk from where you are, sometimes it'll tell you to walk, even tho you cant wash a car if you didn't drive it to the location. Like all tools, its great when used for something its good at.
My Amazing Project Storage Solution
While working through the CSS section on freeCodeCamp I kept getting ideas for side projects to explore different concepts. I’ve built many of these over the years but usually delete them as clutter. I also tend to delete old repos on Github so I don’t end up with a massive graveyard. But I’d like to share some occasionally and not have them disappear when people want to see them years later. So I decided to build a website to store my curiosity projects and throw it on Netlify. I planned to make a “quick” landing page that linked to everything. Since it's just a place to store small projects it doesn’t need to be perfect just something I understand and can expand on later. I find ChatGPT complicates things beyond my understanding, so decided to build it myself and had ChatGPT generate some colour pallets, they're very bland. My storage solution: Behold its splendor, Its magnificence, Its unbelievably-took-too-long-to-make glory, Its a box… I have another side project I'd like to work on and add before I launch it.

Welcome to the Code Zone Skool - July 2026
I just wanted to welcome all the new members joining this month, July 2026. We are all about learning together and helping each other get over the hurdles. We want to share the wins and view the projects you are working on. If we were to take a look at the spread in here, we're about 85% learning based on the questionnaires, and 15% are job-ready or have jobs. 👉 If you are part of the 85%, you may want to unlock all the courses for the year to give yourself the time. Many hours of recording have been put into these lessons. But they give you the confidence you will need when learning the fundamentals. 👉 Book a Call - Would love to get to know you and provide you with the roadmap! It's at no cost, and it really does help give you a clear picture of where to go next on your journey. FOR MY NEW MEMBERS in JULY: Tell us a little bit about yourself: 1. What is your experience so far? Tell us what you are learning 2. What do you hope to get out of the group 3. Attach a GIF that you think represents you as a whole. P.S. I'm a Tagging type of person lol! So if I know you are new and you haven't said hi to the group. You're getting a tag! 😊

# What is your experience so far? Tell us what you are learning I've jumped around a few languages but wouldn't say I know any of them. Lua, BASH, PHP (Laravel), C, Python, JS. I have a descent understanding of HTML, CSS after refreshing with freeCodeCamp and am currently focused on JavaScript with freeCodeCamp and Scrimba. # What do you hope to get out of the group I need an active community where I can ask technical questions and share my random side projects. I find communities the best place to get an introduction to new things or find nuggets of technical knowledge courses leave out.

In 2021 I started teaching myself programming. I'm a slow but consistent learner that takes an interest in a variety of areas.
