Productive Saturday...
So.. today I was sure I was going to wake up, write, meet up with a friend and maybe record some video.
I woke up.. my partner was sick. So I went to the store, bought the stuff to make soup, a nasal rinse .. etc. I came home made her meals and made sure she was alright. I then napped for an hour. I also talked to some friends on the phone and messaged with some clients.. one who was having a rough day and the other who wanted to let me know they were having an awesome day.
A productive day doesn't always look how you thought. I've learned not to beat myself up over it and just reset the schedule when life throws a curveball.
How do you manage unexpected, unavoidable changes to your plans?
