Tulips from last year coming up. Need to do some weeding though.
Advisors
Having advisors is very powerful. Especially when they know your goals, efforts and heart. I've been lucky to have long term friends become advisors who I can rely on to be honest and caring when they give feedback. Find your advisors from your friends, coworkers or family one at a time and do your part to feed the relationship. If you haven't in a while this is a reminder that since the relationship is what exists between the two of you to holler at them. Send that text. Make that call. Schedule the meet up. You are loved. That is all. As you were.

This isn't at anyone. I need this reminder also.
Disconnecting isn't always bad
Taking time to disconnect can help us to regain control of our focus and internal drives. With all the dopamine and adrenaline we get daily from social media, work, family and friends. Our systems need a break periodically. We can't always go on vacation and many have challenges with mediation. Another technique is taking a break from input. Try it out for 15 minutes to an hour let me know how it goes.

@Drew Gillette rituals are very powerful. Taking that time every day is a great discipline. I might try it myself.

Are you feeling stuck?
A lot of us go through times when we just feel stuck. Sometime it can be the loss of a loved one. Other times it's setback with work. Our personal relationships can be trying. What can help? 3 things I suggest. Talk to someone trustworthy. Someone who listens and doesn't need to fix you. Do something different.. in your day.. in your week anything. Lastly. Move your body. Dance. Walk. Exercise. It doesn't have to be fancy.

@Drew Gillette movement is so key for combating burnout. I had to get gear and start enjoying winter photography to help get myself out there in the winter. For me I'm focusing on doing new things namely being more social.
Start with Why
How are you feeling about the way you spend your time? One of the most frustrating things for me was working at a job where at the end of the day/week/month I could not put my finger on why I was made to do things a certain way. This was even worse in romantic relationships. I think it goes back to my childhood. In my generation when children asked elders not just parents why we were to do things a certain way the answer was " because I said so". This might explain my opposition to things that don't make sense. Eventually I realized how important knowing your why and better yet starting with it before you set out on a project or big decision left me with more peace at the end of the day. Simon Sinek wrote a whole book on this. It wasn't bad. Consider this your invitation to think about what you want to do today, this week or even further out and why it's really important to you. I find it helpful to even ask why your why matters to get to the root of my why.
