I appreciate the meter, I believe it helps communicate things in the way you might say them, rather than the reader filling that part in. Many parts of this remind me of my past and/or worldview. I dont know which native American story the intro came from but I know it was one, the characters are familiar and I have studied that mythos. At times I had to take a break because the story of what happened to the natives is so horrible and ugly that I couldn't stand it. My partner's grandma walked the Trail of Tears. The disenchantment, the striving for a change of scenery and answers. I used to leave the library with a book stack as tall as I could carry, and I probably angered a few librarians due to eating cheetos while reading lol There was an orchid tree in my back yard and if I was anywhere, I had climbed it and was reading a book among the boughs. Climbing a tree and playing in the ocean are some of my favorite memories. My first car was a vw bug. It was really hard to learn to drive but i wanted it so badly I muddled through it :)

Aha! emergence
[Life Mind] Finding the Way is unclear - this is an observation and not a critique. At the moment I'm thinking of this "book" as an emergent entity - ideas and concepts swirling around imaginal cells to create an elegant story with shimmering wings. I have more to add to this story - personal influences and constraints - is this the place to do so? how deep do i go here?
First Chapters are Up!!
I just posted the first three chapters into Part 1 Life Mind! I hope you like. The idea is that you'll read a chapter and then post--where do you see yourself in this story?
INTRODUCTION
Hi everyone 👋 I’m excited to be here and to learn alongside people who are curious about how life actually works and how we can apply those principles in meaningful ways. I recently joined because I’m deeply interested in systems thinking, regeneration, and how nature’s self-organizing intelligence can guide better decisions in work and life. Dr. Tamsin Woolley-Barker’s work really resonates with me, especially the idea of collaborating with living systems rather than trying to control them. Looking forward to learning from the community, exchanging perspectives, and exploring how these ideas can be put into practice. Glad to be here 🌱
