Should Service Advisors Make More Than Techs?

I'd like your feedback on this.

We are working with a shop to find a service advisor and the salary range in the ad exceeds the pay for most of their techs.

The shop owner is worried that the techs are going to see the ad and get mad.

What would you do in this situation?
