For those of you here who host your own events, HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR EVENTS ON SCHEDULE? Do you use a run sheet of some sort or who manages the event flow, do you have a timer for each segment?
I mentioned before I had an event come up and it went…. Ok. It was a daytime mastermind which went fantastic, but the evening Speak-Off and awards were only decent. I Was planning and pushing for 200 attendees and had about 60 (late advertising and some other challenges that I dropped the ball on) and yet it was still a pretty dope event in person and for the guest but behind the scenes I missed some marks …. LIKE making the offer 🤷🏾🫣⁉️
We got behind schedule so bad that before I knew it we were 30 minutes passed the time we had to leave and I rushed the offer pitch and honestly barely made it at all. I had 3 people come ask me for more info, but obviously the event was an onboarding event that was designed to position the offer for many more and I ran out of time ⌛️.
👀📋What advice could you all give me on keeping up with the schedule for events or better planning? Because I feel like I left some money on the table and that there were people we could have helped but they didn’t even have a chance to really hear about it.
Thanks in advance for your advice.
