The videos that do the best are the ones I don´t care about

Alright, so I don´t know what to do here.

My best-performing videos (3k more views than usual) are about a topic I don't care about anymore because I focus on way deeper and more important topics for me.

Now im aware that my audience is at the beginner level and still needs help to fix that problem...

So my question is...

Should I go with what works or do what is fun and interesting to me?
