Alex Hormozi's free course on offer creation helped with content creation.
Generally speaking there are 2 types of content:
  1. Growth content
  2. Sales content
Sales content's purpose is to eliminate potential buyers' hurdles/perceived problems while buying from you.
For that, you need to be aware of their problems. Alex's course helped me in finding those problems.
Step 1: Find the dream outcome of your ideal client.
Step 2: Write down every step a person should take to achieve the outcome.
💡iterate over, zoom in, and find out smaller steps
Step 3: On each step apply the following perceived problems:
It’s hard
It’s confusing
It’s expensive
It’s not worth it
It’s not my priority
It’s taking too long
It’s not sustainable
I don’t know how to do it
How to effectively do that
It’s undoable in certain circumstances
Example:
Say you are a fitness coach and your ideal clients are New moms who want to lose weight.
The steps that they want to take to lose weight are:
  1. Measure their weight
  2. Track their calories
  3. Go to the gym
  4. Workout
  5. Go buy groceries
  6. Make food
  7. Pack the food
  8. Eat the food
  9. Take supplements
You can further divide every step into smaller intricate steps. But let's move on with this...
Take one step, in this case, we'll take "Go to the Gym". Some problems they have with that steps are:
  1. It's hard to go to the gym with a newborn
  2. It's expensive, they can't afford a gym
  3. It’s confusing to find a good gym
  4. It’s taking too long to go to the gym
  5. Going to the gym is not my priority, I have a newborn to take care of
  6. It's undoable while on a vacation
We have 6 objections, and turn them into solutions. This is where your niche knowledge/expertise comes into play:
  1. How to balance gym with your newborn (the ultimate workout plan for new moms)
  2. Cheap gyms are better than expensive ones, here is why?
  3. How to choose a better local gym?
  4. Don't spend 7 hrs driving to a gym, do this instead.
  5. Achieve your fitness with your newborn, the roadmap that every new mom follows.
  6. On vacation with your newborn? Do this to be in shape.
Multiple solutions exist for those problems. With these content ideas, your ideal client (who is reading this) is more likely to believe that you are the right solution to their problems.
The solution can be created in multiple formats - it can be an ebook, a long video tutorial, a newsletter, or turned into a low-ticket offer.
