Start new channel or redirect old? Help me!

Hello everyone so I have a problem some of you could help me with! I have a youtube channel currently with 680k subs. I got burnt out, and was making content for others, not myself, and wasn't making enough cash. Ive stopped creating for two months and now amidst my now really fun zipline and beach jobs here in Maui, I want to create more content. The content I want to create is music, some talk about my health journey nutrition etc, and other things im interested in. I wonder if it's best to shift my channel, or to start a new channel. Im leaning more towards shifting my current channel because even if I started a new channel id probably let the old one fall to the wayside anyways not wanting to create the type of content I created in the past 6 months. Im sure this doesn't matter, but this channel with 680k subs is potentially a huge leverage point I don't want to toss in the trash.
