Recently, I got caught up in the hype of likes and views. One of my threads about Naval went viral, and I hit 3000 Twitter followers.

But at the same time, I've been quietly booking free and paid calls with my followers. The calls have been 1000X more useful and fulfilling than maximizing Twitter engagement.

Also, I'm seriously considering investing $1000 in coaching w/ a guy who has 400 followers because he DMed me, we booked a call, and it was clear from our conversation and his content (that gets minimal engagement) that he can help me.

My conclusion is:

• Going viral will not solve your business problems.

• Making connections and helping other people solve theirs will.
