Free DEXA scan at G.O.A.T. Athletic Spas
See my results below. 🤯 Hey guys, wanted to share with you what I learned today in my DEXA scan. It’s probably the second most accurate way on the planet to measure bone density, lean muscle mass and body fat. I got to where I’m at by intuitive eating hitting protein, prioritizing sleep, and lifting consistently. I think this should be the standard for Americans to do what we’ve been doing. Or as Tim Ferris would say it’s the “MED” or minimum effective dose. Will be reading more about that starting Monday when we read the four hour body as a group. But as I’ve been saying, if you really want to transform your body and start to reverse some of the effects of a lifestyle that may have not been optimal This DEXA scan is a great place to start . So in order to get the results I really want aesthetically of washboard abs and maintain a year round BF% of around 10%. It’s going to require a more specific and intentional plan. read ahead from my results and game plan. As you know, it’s been showing that I’ve been around 8 to 10% body fat at the lifetime inbody scanner. I had a feeling that was inaccurate and too low and when I met with a trainer friend of mine who has a slightly nicer inbody scanner I was reading 14% BF. But I knew that my appointment for my DEXA was coming up so I was interested to see how the three machines compared. I hold DEXA as the standard and most accurate. Todays it shows in at 17.1% body fat, which I have definitely been feeling around my midsection… I was hoping it would be around 14%. But based on how I’ve been looking lately, it doesn’t surprise me. 17.1% is my starting point for my next 60 day plan that will include a macro-exact weekly meal plan that I just went shopping for last night. And I’ll be adjusting my training to really take advantage of the meal plan I’ll be executing religiously for muscle growth. Right now GOAT is offering free DEXA scans. I highly highly recommend if you are near the SoJo location here in Utah that you schedule your free DEXA and then look to take them 2 to maybe 3 times a year to keep up on your progress, bone density & visceral (bad) fat.
