Manifesting responses to my question

Do we subconsciously satisfy temporary desires with the intention of placing ourselves back into a state of lack and scarcity to complete the cycle of suffering?

Abundance is the light, lack and scarcity the darkness. One cannot exist without the other. Without experiencing both, we would have neither.

That leads me to generalize that those who are truly able manifest that of the material and temporary have no vested interest in doing so. Further leading me to believe that those obsessed with manifesting wealth will never succeed until they realize that temporary material wealth is so insignificant in the grand scheme of existence, that it should be of little interest to them.
