We’ve got a bank holiday ahead, the sun’s out, and hopefully a bit of time to breathe. So this is your reminder: Be kind to yourself this weekend. Do something positive for you. Get outside. Move your body. See your people. Rest if you need to. And if you do go out and enjoy yourself, enjoy it properly. Don’t wake up the next day and batter yourself with guilt. Just get back on the train of turning up for yourself. One weekend doesn’t define you. The comeback always starts with the next good choice.

Happy Friday everyone 💚 It’s May a new month, a fresh start, and new challenges ahead. Take a moment to do something small for yourself today, something that helps your health, your mind, or your heart. Choosing to stay in this world is a powerful, personal decision. There is so much beauty here, even if we don’t always see it right away. With 8 billion people in the world, I’m truly grateful I’ve crossed paths with you. This community means more to me than I can put into words. The love and support you all show has helped me heal in ways I didn’t think were possible so thank you. Healing isn’t always easy. Sometimes wounds reopen. But stitch by stitch, we can repair them with time, with support, and with people who care. You are not alone. Someone out there will sit with you, hold that needle, and help you through. If you’re struggling, reach out. Give someone five minutes sometimes that’s all it takes to start healing. The art of not breaking promises to yourself is massive. Every time you say you’re going to do something and then don’t follow through, it chips away at your confidence. Not because you’re lazy.Not because you’re weak.But because deep down, you know you’ve let yourself down. I’ve made this mistake loads of times. I overcommit. I set myself too many disciplines.I say I’m going to do ten things at once. Then when I don’t keep up with it all, I beat myself up and wonder why I feel low. But that’s the lesson. Stop making promises to yourself that you can’t realistically keep. Start smaller.Keep your word trust with yourself again. Because every time you follow through, even on something tiny, you rebuild your character. Treat yourself like you would your best mate. You wouldn’t constantly lie and let them down, you wouldn’t speak to them the way you speak to yourself. So don’t do it to you. Self-love comes first. Keep fighting the good fight
