Stop Breaking Promises to Yourself
The art of not breaking promises to yourself is massive.
Every time you say you’re going to do something and then don’t follow through, it chips away at your confidence.
Not because you’re lazy. Not because you’re weak. But because deep down, you know you’ve let yourself down.
I’ve made this mistake loads of times.
I overcommit. I set myself too many disciplines.I say I’m going to do ten things at once. Then when I don’t keep up with it all, I beat myself up and wonder why I feel low.
But that’s the lesson.
Stop making promises to yourself that you can’t realistically keep.
Start smaller.Keep your word trust with yourself again.
Because every time you follow through, even on something tiny, you rebuild your character.
Treat yourself like you would your best mate.
You wouldn’t constantly lie and let them down, you wouldn’t speak to them the way you speak to yourself.
So don’t do it to you.
Self-love comes first.
Keep fighting the good fight
