Hello family π
Happy Monday.
Hope you have had a beautiful and restful weekend and are ready to step into the week with intention and energy.
Here is a little insight that came to mind that I wanted to share with you.
Something that I hope inspires and adds some clarity for the week ahead and beyond.
I want to bring to your attention the concept of self control.
This is one of those topics that sounds simple on the surface but the deeper you look the more you realise just how foundational it actually is.
Here it is simply put.
Self control is your life's work.
Not a nice to have.
Not something to work on eventually. Your life's work.
Because here is what self control actually gives you when you develop it.
Stronger relationships. Better health. Financial success. Emotional stability.
A sense of purpose and direction.
The ability to create the life you actually want rather than just reacting to whatever life throws at you.
Everything you are working towards in this community.
The healing. The manifesting. The mindset shifts. The nervous system regulation.
All of it requires a foundation of self control and self mastery underneath it.
Now here is the distinction that really hits different.
We live in two worlds simultaneously.
The outer world. Your circumstances. Your job. Your relationships. Your bank account. Your environment.
And the inner world. Your thoughts. Your emotions. Your psychology. What is going on in here.
Most people spend their whole lives reacting to the outer world.
Blaming it. Being mesmerised by it. Feeling like a victim of it.
But the people who create the lives they want have figured out something powerful.
They have reversed the process.
Instead of the outer world controlling their inner world they have built their inner world so strong that it starts to shape their outer world.
That is the creator mindset versus the victim mindset.
And the bridge between the two is self control.
Now here is why it is so hard to develop.
Your brain is essentially a complex thermostat.
It is constantly trying to maintain balance across millions of factors.
Your survival. Your relationships. Your emotional state. All of it at once.
And when you try to change your habits. Build discipline. Start a new routine.
Your brain resists because change disrupts that balance.
That is not weakness. That is biology.
But here is the good news.
Every time you follow through on a disciplined practice your brain literally builds new neural connections.
You are physically strengthening your ability to self regulate.
And the key is consistency.
It is like going to the gym.
Every rep builds the muscle.
Every time you choose your higher self over your lower self you are building the version of you that is capable of creating everything you want.
This is also why visualization practices and intention setting are so powerful.
You get to consciously choose and envision the person you want to become and the life you want to create.
When you have that as your reference point.
That clear vision of who you are becoming.
The map to get there starts to unravel by itself. The decisions become clearer.
The aligned actions become more obvious. The path opens up.
It is about choosing yourself. Choosing your vision.
Choosing your growth.
Over and over again. Even when it is hard.
Even when nobody is watching.
When you master yourself the whole world opens up to you. π₯
But it all starts with understanding why this is worth pursuing.
Because when you truly see the value of self mastery and what it can do for every single area of your life it stops feeling like discipline and starts feeling like devotion.
And devotion is unstoppable.
And that is exactly what this community is here to help you with.
But you must also show up for yourself.
That means turning up to the live calls.
Engaging with members in the comments.
Working with the coaches.
Sharing your experiences and insights along the way.
We are all on this same path.
So feel free to share something below that you feel may help another member.
A lesson. A shift. A realization. Something that has been working for you.
This is your soul family.
Make yourself at home and use this space as a place to hold yourself accountable and reinstate your why.
Because your why is everything.
Now let us set the week with intention.
Take a moment right now before you dive in.
Close your eyes if you can. Take a breath.
And ask yourself.
Who am I becoming. And what is one thing I can do differently this week to move closer to that version of myself.
What is one intention you are setting this week to get you closer to the person you are becoming??
Comment below and let the community witness you stepping into this week with purpose. π
Wishing you a powerful focused and self led week ahead π
