How to tell if a client is a nightmare

Quick filter I use now on every call.

I ask:

“Who’s responsible if this doesn’t work?”

Good clients say:

“Us. We’ll execute.”

Bad clients say:

“You. That’s why we’re paying you.”

One sentence saves months of pain.
