Colors and fabrics
have always been a person who likes colors. This vintage wool jacket has subtle dark green, plum, burgundy and tans running vertically. The weave of the cloth is interesting and unusual as it is both a herringbone and long weave interspersed so the long weave vertical colors are visable and then the strips of Herringbone tone it down. I paired this with a Hardy Amies plum and green tie to pick up those colors, used a dark plum pocket square and then brightened the look with a cotton yellow sweater vest, lighter tan pants and my favorite Florsheim Italian loafers.
