Everyone is debating the role of AI in creativity. I've seen copywriters and photographers bemoaning losing work to AI all over LinkedIn. I really feel for them.
But IS AI replacing creatives?
Do you think AI is 'replacing' artists and copywriters?
Or
Do you think AI is an artist’s superpower that's enhancing our creativity?
If AI content becomes mainstream, what will make human-created work more valuable?
Will authenticity & storytelling matter MORE?
Will we crave human-made content because it’s real?
Could AI create an over-saturation problem, making human creativity stand out MORE than ever?
This isn’t just about tech vs. humanity. It’s about how AI forces us to redefine what we truly value.
What do YOU think? Will human art, writing, and ideas become more valuable in the AI era?
Personally I believe it's redefining what's possible, expanding our creative consciousness, allowing more people to be creative than ever before, and creating new jobs, and new more sustainable practices.
Yes some creatives are being replaced by companies using AI in house, and there will always be the side effect of job loss in an evolving world (What happened to the carriage makers? saddlers? hitching post makers? Saloon owners? VHS? CD's anyone?)
But I have seen a trend where some are already realising you can't replace years of experience with an intern level robot and the pendulum will swing the other way again. There will be a teething period where we learn, adapt, abandon, adopt again, redefine, and eventually integrate.
