Where do ideas for a video come from? An idea may just pop into your head. Maybe you created an image that sparks an idea for a story. You could have seen someone else's image that gives you an idea you’d like to try. Or, maybe you wake up in the morning remembering something you dreamed. Anyway, it comes to you, you now have to plan out how you’re going to execute it. If you’ve created a character you like, you may want to plan what action they’re doing and think of that image as a start frame, and now make an end frame for a 4- or 5-second video. Or if you like the style of a character, you may want to create more characters in that style (like the attached 3D cartoon character made with Midjourney). He sparked a whole comedic story of the “Old Wild West!” What is your storyline? Do you want the story narrated? If so, you can either write a script yourself or seek assistance from ChatGPT. Perhaps you want the story told in a song. You can turn to Suno, Udio, or ElevenLabs and prompt what you want the song to be about and what style of music, and let those programs write the song, running it two or three times until you get the one you like. Now the question becomes: how do you determine the number of scenes you want and create a group of images that you can use to build a storyboard? Tomorrow, we’ll compare building a storyboard in Midjourney versus using CapCut to make it. Stay Tuned.
