Happy Sunday,
Thanks to all the folks that reached out about the 7K Sprint, will be getting back to you tomorrow. Sunday's are a day where I'm offline the vast majority of the day.
And the goal of business in my mind is to be able to sit back on a weekend and not feel the burning pressure that the ship is on fire.
So here's a simple practice exercise I highly recommend if you're ever stuck or feeling overwhelmed by some element in the business.
- Ask yourself what must be true for you to not stress in this moment. Saying "being present" is great but what are the metrics you desire to hit in order to be able to take this day/week/month "off" without worry.
- Write down those targets and think initially of the offers you must have in place in order to hit them. Example - if you need to grow your ecosystem, you need buyers. If you need more clients, you need a Productized Offer.
- Close the book/screen/lock the phone and let it rest in your subconscious for the day. Workout, take showers, walk lots, pray, meditate, dance, music...anything that lights you up.
What will happen is you'll get a "download" from god/the universe and it will suddenly just pop right into your mind.
There's that old Lincoln quote about sharpening the axe. This is the modern day version of that where the mind and our ability to create is how sharp our brain is.
My only rule for this?
Don't go directly to AI.
You'll go down a wormhole.
Instead, be the captain steering the ship and let AI work with you to guide it forward.
Zac
P.S I did this when I was dead broke to.
Hustle is powerful only if you are hustling forwards vs around in circles.
