Before the year ends, a personal reflection
This year felt slow for me.
Not because nothing happened, but because I learned to stick to the basics no matter what.
I went through a lot of ruts.
My spirituality went up and down.
My finances went up and down.
My health wasn’t stable. I ended up in hospital and had an operation that set me back.
So yeah, this year came with obstacles.
What it taught me is the importance of holding on to just a few things that keep you grounded.
A small handful of things. Nothing fancy.
  • Sleep.
  • Prayer.
  • Journaling.
  • Gym
  • Human Connection
Those basics helped me get through the storms without losing myself.
I’ve achieved things this year.
I’ve also lost things.
Another lesson this year taught me is this.
When things start going well, I can’t get complacent.
Every time I relax too much, it ends up costing me mentally, physically, or financially.
How would you describe your year, honestly? 👇👇👇
