Why you struggle to do hard things
This challenge was about choosing one difficult task you tend to avoid and committing to doing it everyday. Over the past week, I have been intentionally working on avoiding using my phone while eating. Although it may seem like a small change, it has been challenging due to how usual scrolling has become during meals. Despite the difficulty, I have noticed meaningful improvements. I feel more present and aware and I also use that time to reflect on my day rather than being distracted. This simple adjustment has brought more clarity and a sense of calm. While I still occasionally feel the urge to reach for my phone, I can definitely see how much I’ve progressed. I’ll continue to find other hard tasks to do everyday once this specific task has become easy.

Thank you Kani ☺️ yeah exactly! It’s so peaceful without it honestly, specially now during Ramadan! Hopefully it will be our new normal 🤲🏽🫶🏽

Ramadan Mubarak to you all! 🌹
Why you struggle to do hard things take day 2
First task: Incorporate at least one challenging physical activity each day. Skipping done ✅ ( haven’t skipped for a while, so it was quite challenging) Second task: Commit to ONE thing I hate doing and do it tomorrow morning. Memorisation 1 line done ✅ ( hard to do today but memorised it properly today without hesitation because I took more time to memorise )

Why you struggle to do hard things task
From yesterday’s session about why you struggle to do hard things, Dino set two tasks to help find a solution and improve. First task: Incorporate at least one challenging physical activity each day.💪🏻🚶🏼‍♀️ I was originally planning on doing skipping, but just for today I only did some walking. I’m going to start skipping properly from tomorrow. Second task: Commit to ONE thing I hate doing and do it tomorrow morning.😫 One thing I mentioned I hate is memorisation. Although I didn’t do it in the morning, I still did around 5 minutes of memorisation. I’m not going to lie, I absolutely hated it but I’m going to keep going because I want to beat this struggle with hard things. For the future, I want to strictly stick to these two tasks and, over time, be able to handle hard things without giving up. The reason I’m posting this is to hold myself accountable. And anyone else reading this should join in so we can grow together.☺️
