Things that make you go hmmm.
Yesterday I woke up with a desire to strive. That is unusual because I don't believe in striving. I'm more natured around progress and working smarter rather than harder.
I was torn about how to proceed. Part of my daily ritual involves praying for wisdom for my day. It's a practice I stole from King Solomon. He was known as the wisest to ever live because his desire was for divine wisdom above everything else. That pleased his Father so King Solomon was given wisdom and everything he would ever want or need. So much so that he concluded everything under the sun is as chasing the wind. Hence why I don't strive for anything under the ☀️.
Right after that a message from Derek Prince emerged in my feed about not striving. The whole world of AI and ML reads my mind often and it reminded me to wait on my heavenly Father in faith and to trust in Him.
To be frank, both of the dicotomies were stressing me. They were on opposing ends on the spectrum and made me tired. So do you know what I did? I laid down. And 5 hours later I emerged from a nap. 🤯 That was after sleeping 8 hours and then soon after sleeping 8 more.
I know some of you may be thinking that sounds a lot like depression. I can assure you that it wasn't that. It was exactly what I needed. A gift of healing and restoration after 5 years of extreme intensity.
It felt like a dream, but it wasn't a dream at all. I'm so grateful for the time of peaceful restoration.
