WOWSERS! My mind is legit blown.
You have heard me whine about wanting a helper for a Subtitle. That was already after having Julie help me realize my original title was wrong and then giving me a new perfect title in the accelerator group. I had heard about The Book Bot but when I found her- she took all my stresses away and started giving me an abundance of the answers I desperately needed.
Now I need your help with which Subtitle you like best.
The book is written for a cause to Reimagine Child Welfare but not about that per se so a blurb will be included that says- Written for a cause.
The narrative tells stories about how we fail ourselves, one another, and, even more importantly, our most vulnerable by going through the motions with anecdotes to remedy as desired. It's the first show-and-tell book of its kind—a memoir with practical application lessons.
For context of what a leap this was on positioning the original name was Lessons in Diplomacy from a Contemptuous Woman to the new name: launchpad!
I have my favorite, but I would love to hear from you. :)
Additional considerations- We talked about this yesterday in the Accelerator group how a lot of great books have awful subtitles for example: Eat, Pray, Love- One Women's Search for Everything.
What problem does that solve? Not clear but for all who connected with it the book made them feel seen and heard for wanting so much more than what they fumbled their way into and the search to find their way to something meaningful, worthwhile.
