What “SelfCare Sobriety” Means Here 💛
When we talk about SelfCare Sobriety in this space, we’re not talking about sobriety in the traditional sense. We’re talking about an intentional shift toward awareness, balance, and compassion in how we take care of ourselves and our lives. SelfCare Sobriety is about becoming more conscious of what we consume, how we cope, how we rest, how we relate, and how we show up—across the whole of our lives, not just in one area. In this community, we explore self-care through the 12 dimensions of wellness: • Physical • Emotional • Cognitive • Spiritual • Social • Creative • Environmental • Financial • Occupational • Relational • Purpose • Healing & Integration Rather than chasing perfection or “doing it right,” we’re practicing honest reflection and gentle course-correction. We’re noticing what drains us, what nourishes us, what keeps us stuck, and what helps us feel more like ourselves. SelfCare Sobriety means: ✨ Choosing intention over autopilot ✨ Building self-care that’s sustainable (not performative) ✨ Supporting your nervous system, not fighting it ✨ Integrating growth into real life—not just talking about it This is a space for curiosity, compassion, and community—not shame, pressure, or all-or-nothing thinking. You don’t have to overhaul your life overnight. You just have to start paying attention… and choosing yourself a little more often. 💛 I’m really glad you’re here.

What Self-Care Sobriety Means Here
I’m really glad you’re here. This space is about self-care sobriety—not as perfection, restriction, or “doing it right,” but as awareness. It's the practice of noticing what actually supports your nervous system… and choosing it with intention. Here, self-care sobriety might look like: •pausing instead of pushing• resting without earning it • choosing presence over numbing• setting one small boundary • noticing what helps—and what drains There’s no expectation to post daily. No comparison. No advice unless it’s asked for. You’re welcome to participate quietly, out loud, or somewhere in between. If you’d like, introduce yourself by answering one of these (or simply read and settle in): 👉 What does self-care sobriety mean to you right now? 👉 What’s one way you know when something is supporting you? This is a practice space. Gentle. Optional. Human. Take what you need. Leave the rest. — Amy
