OK, I hit “post” and the Me Auction is live

Just hit the button for my auction on my Facebook page. I’m auctioning me until tomorrow afternoon.

I talk about a lot of different things on FB, mainly things I’ve been through myself or have a lot of experience with. For example, I’ve coached women through relationships (went through a divorce and figured out my own shit); worked in hospice and been with a lot of folks at the end; been a marketing and web writer; and had a less-than-wonderful relationship with my mother.

I decided the auction would be for time instead of a topic because I don’t know what people need help with right now and who might step forward. I thought about leaving the auction friends only, but again, I don’t know who needs me. The post needed to be public. Also, no hiding and no assumptions. Whatever happens, happens.

Travis’ post about having fun was the straw that broke me through. It really is about fun and being detached from the outcome. I had a blast writing it, so even if it “bombs”, I’ve done a new thing!

If you’re thinking about holding an auction, just do it!
