My name is David and I´m a clarinet player from Spain.
A few years ago I used to play in Symphony Orchestras around the world and I was struggling with money most of the time.
Not anymore.
One day I discovered something totally unknown to me:
I like to write and having people lining up to buy.
And this is what has brought me to Ronin today…
In a nutshell:
I got this partner through cold outreach.
I didn´t know him and he didn´t know me at all.
I don´t have a website, I didn´t have to show him case studies, and I sent my first cold email from my personal free Gmail account.
After 45 minutes on our first Coffee Date over Zoom… he said:
“Let´s do this”.
We met again a few days later for the offer call and after that, he gave me control of his 10,000 people email list.
I had everything I needed to start the TEST.
We decided to run a test for a NEW offer for his audience that has never been offered before.
A bit risky for a new partner and a first deal?
Probably…
But I can´t complain… and my partner is happy 😄
So happy that before finishing the campaign… he referred me to two of his friends to try to do the same with their businesses (without using my referral mojo yet).
Two potential deals in the pipeline before finishing this one so far. And a lot to do with my new partner.
First I wanted to test the list “temperature”. Specially for this new offer.
I sent a Pre T1 email to see if there was some kind of interest without an offer.
Just asking “If we were to do this…”
Hat tip to for the "quiet launch formula" ;-) We got about 120 replies.
That´s some desire there, right?
But most important… I got DATA from that 120 replies.
Because when they replied, I was waiting there with a couple of questions…
Now I had enough to write the T3.
Well… actually I didn´t write anything…
THE MARKET WROTE ALL THE COPY FOR ME!!!
I just had to do some little tweaks and put it on a Google Doc.
So I sent the #1 T1 two days later to the entire 10,000 person list.
The rest of T1s went out daily for 9 days straight and after that we got over 500 hand raisers.
My partners goal was to fill 20 spots.
We ended up filling 40.
Now, something to point out:
This is not my first Ronin deal.
This campaign came from multiple another “failed” or "small wins" Ronin deals.
So as always says: “Keep Flipping The Coin!”. Thank you Travis.
And to the tapper that helped me close the sales.
One decade ago, I didn’t know enough English to read the posts on this group.
And yet, last week a few emails and an 8 page Google Doc, brought in $122,895 in 11 Days for my partner (and a nice cut for me).
