Would you ever wear a cowboy boot with a zip?
Hey gents,
I’ve been looking at the Chisos No.7 – a cowboy boot with a side zip and a slightly narrower top profile. Definitely not your standard pull-on.
Couple of things I’m wondering:
- Does the side zip feel like a smart, modern tweak or does it take away from the “real” cowboy boot vibe?
- The slimmer shaft makes them easier to wear under tailored trousers – good thing or too far from tradition?
- And here’s the big one… would you wear these with a suit? If yes, what suit styles/colours do you think would make it work?
I can see the zip being super practical, especially for slimmer cuts, but I’m curious to hear what the group thinks.
What’s your gut reaction – style evolution or cowboy heresy?
