Hauled out the purple tie again and wore it with a navy blazer this time. I also wore my long-shelved black fedora, which has not made an appearance since I aquired my new Stetson Temple in Caribou grey. With the prairie wind howling and the temp once again in the negatives, I wore my camel overcoat too - maybe even more out of necessity than style. Purple becomes a perfect median color to bridge the gap between navy and black - and the tan coat adds a formidable contrast that is elegant without being over-the-top.
