Starting to switch to baseball tournament mode given that we leave for 5 days starting tomorrow. Better still, my son got an early invite onto the 14U national team for his travel ball group. It made his entire summer. That said, as tryouts have not finished, we can't share this good news during the tournament especially since a few members that did try out will not make the national team (we have some nationally ranked players that tried out this summer, thus some room will need to be made). Coaching my son how to manage his excitement but understand the concern his news can have on others is part of being a father raising a gentleman.

Today's outfit has a suit I do not wear enough. I forget how well it fits. There's also a new ancient madder tie from Kirby Allison is a great array of dark colors. All of this let me break out the Montblanc leather bag for the first time as I will need it for a late day meeting out of the office.
