The rest of the family is visiting one of the universities my older son is considering, I stayed home to catch up on some work. A relaxed, casual outfit for the day.

• Shirt — HS-003 (Faherty): An olive organic-cotton sweater shirt — a hybrid knit piece with a knitted barrel collar and elastic bottom. Soft, breathable, and built for relaxed wear at home, it sets a quiet, earthy tone for the day.

• Undershirt — US-013 (True Classic): A regular-weight olive green cotton/polyester crew neck in Large with a "very good" fit. Worn invisibly beneath the sweater shirt, it keeps things comfortable and tonally consistent for an all-olive base layer.

• Trousers — PN-012 (Fort Belvedere): The Stancliffe high-rise corduroy trouser in dark brown / chocolate brown 100% cotton, woven in Portugal at a hefty 705 g/m². Cuffed, classic-fit, and beautifully matte — a Christmas '25 gift from Tricia that grounds the outfit with rich texture and warm, earthy depth.

• Belt — B-015 (W. Kleinberg): A chocolate brown genuine calf-suede belt made in the U.S., with dark brown edge stitching, a steel buckle in silver finish, and a snap closure for swappable hardware. Soft, refined, and matched intentionally to the suede Chelseas.

• Footwear — DSh-010 (Cobbler Union): Benjamin-on-Ritz-last dark brown suede Chelsea boots, Goodyear-welted in Spain on a leather sole with tapered waist. The almond toe and sleek elastic-side silhouette make them the perfect dress-casual anchor — equal parts comfortable and quietly sophisticated.

• Watch — W-005 (Fossil): The Fossil Pearson Multifunction Quartz on Havana mocha-brown genuine leather, 42mm brushed/polished stainless case with a Hunter Green sunray dial and applied indices. The green dial ties directly to the olive shirt and the brown strap echoes the cords and Chelseas — a near-perfect earth-tone pairing.

• Ring — R-001 (Ellie's Jewelry): The platinum-and-diamond wedding ring. Always on, always part of the outfit.

• Fragrance — FR-016 (Creed Aventus): The legendary fruity-woody-smoky EDP — pineapple, bergamot, and blackcurrant up top, birch and patchouli at the heart, and a musky ambergris/oakmoss base.
