New Jacket for St. Patrick's Day Party

Hello Gents, I picked up this great Black Watch Tartan Jacket to wear to a St. Patrick's Day party. (yes, I know this is Scottish not Irish but that's ok). This is a very casual party and people will be in t-shirts and jeans. I am certain I will be the only one in a jacket so I want to dress this down rather than up. I am thinking dark wash blue denim and will likely pair with brown leather boots and belt. I am a little stuck on the shirt. A white button up would look great but more dressy than needed. Again, very casual group.

And I know some of you are screaming what about the pocket square. I'm not a huge fan but I might indulge so if you have suggestions.

How would you wear this?
