Listening is a Superpower
Want to know one of the biggest advantages you can create for yourself?
It's by learning how to shut up and listen.
Not half listen...
Not "wait for your turn to talk" listen...
Actually listen.
Because when people talk...
They are gifting you with extremely valuable information.
They'll tell you about their feelings.
They'll tell you about their goals.
They'll tell you about their motivations.
They'll tell you about their purpose.
They'll tell you about their struggles.
...all of which you can utilize to make a bigger impact in their lives as well as your own.
Most people are so concerned with making their voice heard that they completely miss these opportunities.
Instead of giving their undivided attention to what the person in front of them is saying...
They're too busy worrying about what they're going to say next to sound smart or "win" the conversation.
Do yourself a favor...
Quiet your mind.
Pay attention.
Listen.
...and absorb what the person in front of you is actually saying.
You will equip yourself with the ammunition necessary to make a far greater impact and build far more meaningful connections as a result.
Talking doesn’t make you powerful.
