Jacket Recommendations

Good evening, gents. I've seen some of the RMRS YouTube videos that show how to use neutral colors to build a versatile wardrobe. Pretty much all of my jackets are hoodies or a zip-up fleece from work, but I'm looking for a quality jacket/light coat that I can wear with pretty much anything. Obviously, removing it or not wearing it for certain occasions. Does anyone have any recommendations for one of their favorites? Something that is a good balance of affordability and durability?
