Cleaning newly received shoes from Ebay

Hi all,

I know we have 1-2 folks in this group who are masters at shoe care. I have just ordered two pairs from eBay (used) and would love to get any guidance on how best to sterilize the shoes once they arrive. Also, any generic guidelines on prepping them for regular use and even checking the sizing (I've never purchased a used shoe, so I'm only knowledgeable in break in periods and leather loosening a touch, which seem like they are useless considerations for used shoes).

If you know of a good video on the topic, that would also be welcomed.
