Caught without a shoehorn

As an injury on one of my feet found me visiting a podiatrist regularly for the past few months, even when wearing a special boot on one foot, I would remove my other shoe so that the bottoms of my other shoe wasn’t in his face. This found me without a shoehorn when needed to put them back on.

I am here to attest to the suggestion on Kirby Allison’s channel: use a credit card (or similar plastic card already in your wallet). It works wonderfully. Obviously you need to use a bit of care, but I barely even thought about it the last time I used this approach. Which credit card you use as a tool might be a chance to abreact to how that company treats you… And sorry, Apple Pay won’t work here 😀
