Most people think playing Santa is about the suit. It’s not.
It’s about responsibility.
When I step into that role, I’m not pretending. I’m showing up for kids who still believe in something bigger than noise and screens. I’m showing up for parents who need their kids to feel safe, seen, and joyful, even if just for a moment.
From my own life, I know what it feels like when someone shows up for you without asking for anything in return. That’s what Santa represents to me — presence, consistency, and quiet leadership.
It’s not about being jolly. It’s about being steady.
I don’t take that lightly. Never have. Never will.
Grateful for the kids, the families, and the chance to be part of something that still matters.
