#WellnessWednesday How to Fix Back Pain Naturally💪
These 3 proven techniques relieve lower back pain fast! Read on to learn more and let me know if you try any of them below👇 Lower back pain is one of the most common complaints I see with clients. In fact, nearly 80% of adults experience lower back pain at some point in their lives😲 The good news is that some of the most effective strategies for how to fix back pain naturally are also incredibly simple! Below are 3 techniques I frequently use with clients to restore movement, reduce tension, and provide long-term lower back pain relief. Technique #1: The McKenzie Method for Back Pain⭐ One of the most effective physical therapy exercises for lower back pain is the McKenzie extension exercise. This technique encourages the spine to move into extension, which can help reduce pressure on spinal discs and restore healthy spinal movement. How to Perform the McKenzie Extension 1.   Lie face down on the ground. 2.   Place your hands under your shoulders as if starting a push-up. 3.   Slowly press your upper body upward while keeping your hips on the floor. 4.   Hold the position for 5-10 seconds. 5. Lower yourself back down and repeat. Why the McKenzie Method Works🤓 The McKenzie extension helps: -   Reduce pressure on the lumbar discs -   Reverse the flexed posture created by sitting -   Improve spinal mobility -   Provide immediate lower back pain relief for many people For clients who sit frequently, this exercise can dramatically improve how their back feels within minutes. Technique #2: Spinal Extension Reset (Lying in Extension)⭐ Sometimes the simplest solution is simply allowing the spine to return to its natural extension position. Spending a few minutes lying in extension can help decompress the lower back and relax surrounding muscles. How to Perform the Extension Reset 1.   Lie face down on the floor or a mat. 2.   Place your forearms under your shoulders so your chest lifts slightly. 3.   Let your lower back relax completely. 4.   Breathe slowly and remain here for 1-3 minutes.

Wellness Wednesday! Is Your Conductor Confused?
Since analogies have been appreciated in this community, here is another one! Imagine an orchestra 100+ musicians across a large stage Violas, Cellos, Double Basses on one side Flutes, Oboes, Clarinets on the other French Horns, Trumpets, Trombones in the back. Maybe a Tuba Several percussion instruments All looking at the conductor who tells them when to come in, when to get louder, when to pick up the pace, when to get softer in perfect synchrony. Creating a harmonious performance. Take a moment to listen in your brain the beautiful music. What do you think it would happen, if the conductor suddenly spilled the hot, black coffee he shouldn't even have had on him all over his music sheet. And he could no longer read it clearly. He may start to get confused. He may start hesitating when giving a signal. Or maybe giving the wrong one. The musicians may start to get confused themselves now. What do you think it sounds like when 100+ instruments are all out of sync, following a different music sheets? Absolute chaos! This is what happens to your biology when the conductor in the brain gets confused. The conductor is called the Suprachiasmatic Nucleus (SCN). And the music sheet is LIGHT! Sunlight and Darkness to be precise. Being indoors under artificial lights all day and into the night is like the conductor spilling a gallon of coffee onto his music sheet. So, if you want to make sure your conductor gets clear and pristine music sheets ever day, then focusing on your light environment is key. Morning sunlight Opening windows Sun breaks Grounding And just as importantly... Respect the darkness at night. Use blue blocking strategies as needed. How often do you go outside?

Happy Wellness Wednesday!
I don't DRINK coffee but I do put it up my 🍑😮
I said it and I’m not afraid to admit it… I LOVE coffee enemas. When I do them, I feel lighter, my skin is clearer, my digestion is smoother, and my energy feels more stable throughout the day. I’ve been doing them regularly for the last few years after being introduced through a health reset program created by a psychiatrist who trained with Nicholas Gonzalez (see video of him below). Similar protocols, like Gerson Therapy, also incorporate coffee enemas as part of their approach to supporting the body. For many, coffee enemas are a way to support the body’s natural detoxification processes—especially in a world where we’re constantly exposed to chemical, physical, and emotional stressors. ☕️ So how do they actually work? A common misconception is that coffee enemas are just about clearing the colon. While they do clear out the colon (not to be used in place of a natural bowel movement), their primary purpose is to support liver function. The coffee is retained in the colon, where compounds like caffeine, theobromine, and theophylline are absorbed through veins that circulate to the liver. These compounds are thought to: • Support liver detox pathways – encouraging the release and processing of waste • Enhance bile flow – which plays a key role in eliminating toxins • Support digestion – by promoting movement through the bowels • Increase glutathione activity – via compounds like cafestol and kahweol, which are linked to antioxidant processes • Activate the vagus nerve – supporting a parasympathetic (“rest and digest”) state • Support overall system regulation – which some people experience as reduced discomfort and improved energy Like most things in the wellness space, you’ll find a wide range of opinions on coffee enemas—their benefits, safety, and effectiveness. My experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and I always encourage people to learn, get support if needed, and go at their own pace. Have you ever tried a coffee enema? If not, would you ever consider it? Why or why not?
