You can only be to others what you are first to yourself
If you don’t love, respect, or understand yourself, it’s really hard to truly do that for other people. You have to be kind, honest, and real with yourself first before you can give that to someone else. So like, think of it as “you can’t pour from an empty cup”, fill your own cup first, then you can share with others!
