Multiple Claude.md folders?

One thing I’m curious about is having multiple workspaces. In the modules Clief says to have small Claude.md files and keep it for similar tasks, writing vs building. Does that mean there’s a separate folder system for both? And if yes then I’m assuming a Claude.md file for both folder structures? Also does that mean you have to tell Claude where to go when switching tasks? Or will Claude do it automatically
