Challenge of the Day: STAY CONNECTED.
This week I'll be announcing the winners of the giveaway, so before you jump into today's challenge, make sure you go back and read the previous post carefully. You don't want to miss it.
Now for today's challenge...
Keep constant contact between your tool tip and the metal.
One of the biggest mistakes beginners make is completely coming out of the push after every hit. The moment you lose contact, you lose your reference point. Then your next push becomes a search mission instead of a precision movement.
Today, I want you to practice staying connected.
After each push, only back out just enough to reset your tool. Let the tip continue to lightly ride against the backside of the panel before making your next push.
When you stay connected:
- Your tip location becomes much easier to track.
- Your confidence increases.
- Your rhythm improves.
- You'll naturally begin to flex the metal instead of trying to force the metal.
Remember... precision comes before intensity.
Today's goal isn't to move the biggest dent. It's to build the habit of staying connected to the panel and trusting your tool.
Drop a comment below after your practice session and tell us what you noticed.
Now WORK HARD and GO BE GREAT.
