Dent
One of the hardest repair I've tried so far. Really struggle getting the bottom body line up. What I learned from this repair is that I believe I went with a small tip too soon. I should've use some more glue pulling before pushing.

Looks clean ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Are you a PDR tech already or a beginner ?
Back to the battlefield
I returned to the scene of my first pdr crime. My first attempt at hail damage on an aluminum hood one year ago.I go back to it every once in a while to show myself how much I donโ€™t know and how far I have to go to become capable at this craft that I love. I got it a little bit better today.

Nice ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Must be rewarding to clearly see you're improving over the time by coming back to the same dent and getting it better every time
Repair I did for a friend.
So I seen dent discount do this glue a board to keep it from blowing out.i was told it was unnecessary because bottom wasnโ€™t bent but why take the chance. Did it all with a double bend soft tip from ultra dent .i spent 8 hours on it..After doing it I think I should have started with glue instead of pushing while hitting the crowns to get it to release.Next time Iโ€™ll try to get pics ahead of time to get some direction from the group.Live to hear how you would attack this.

Well, it was a nasty dent and from the picture you took the repair looks great ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป As for the hard to see on fender like Dean said it is tricky even with a light stand Not sure if I would have started with glue on a front fender

Thanks to @Terry Swanson encouraging me to get it I recently bought a cold glue set After being surprised by how well it sticks and blowing out a panel ๐Ÿซฃ Today I had the perfect opportunity to make it shine This is on the hailed Golf 8 but no hail related, those dents are caused by customer pushing on the trunk to close it so thankfully it's only shallow dents I took it slow, picked a lighter slide hammer and gave it a shot And wow, after only 3 minutes of pulling, not even touching a hammer it was already 80-90% improved ! I still struggle with blending so it took me a bit after that and it's not a 100% repair but it took me less than an hour total, no R&I, and its totally okay from customers view My set only includes big tabs so now I want to get smaller tabs too and I recommend you too ๐Ÿ˜œ

Took care of the biggest dent of the golf 8 today As you can imagine it was waay overstretched Combined lots of techniques on this one Most useful was probably the one from @Dean Berman from the YouTube video of the Texas hail dent to help stabilise the dent Not perfect but it was P2P since the beginning and it is now in a great position for a finishing filler, it did oil can a bit during the repair but I managed to keep it controlled thanks to the stabilising technique and now it is stable It looks ugly because I had to shrink it in the end but I don't have a PDR shrinker and the dent spotter is way too powerful it burns the paint instantly I'm pretty happy with the result I think other body men will feel me
