Repair I did for a friend.
So I seen dent discount do this glue a board to keep it from blowing out.i was told it was unnecessary because bottom wasn’t bent but why take the chance. Did it all with a double bend soft tip from ultra dent .i spent 8 hours on it..After doing it I think I should have started with glue instead of pushing while hitting the crowns to get it to release.Next time I’ll try to get pics ahead of time to get some direction from the group.Live to hear how you would attack this.

@Charles Bernadas cold glue on that dent could give you a nice jump on it. The trick is knowing just where to pull. Only watching videos and trial and error will show where the right spot should be.
Back to the battlefield
I returned to the scene of my first pdr crime. My first attempt at hail damage on an aluminum hood one year ago.I go back to it every once in a while to show myself how much I don’t know and how far I have to go to become capable at this craft that I love. I got it a little bit better today.

@Abraham Barahona you are so lucky to have a pro help you out like that!! I think it makes all the difference.
Last 10%
Finishing a dent is absolutely the hardest part for me. That last low spot when looking at it with the light far away. Or even the last subtle highs that need to be knocked down just right 😮‍💨

Cold glue appreciation post
Thanks to @Terry Swanson encouraging me to get it I recently bought a cold glue set After being surprised by how well it sticks and blowing out a panel 🫣 Today I had the perfect opportunity to make it shine This is on the hailed Golf 8 but no hail related, those dents are caused by customer pushing on the trunk to close it so thankfully it's only shallow dents I took it slow, picked a lighter slide hammer and gave it a shot And wow, after only 3 minutes of pulling, not even touching a hammer it was already 80-90% improved ! I still struggle with blending so it took me a bit after that and it's not a 100% repair but it took me less than an hour total, no R&I, and its totally okay from customers view My set only includes big tabs so now I want to get smaller tabs too and I recommend you too 😜

Cold glue can be a great way to start dents sometimes. I tried it on a hail dent and it pulled way too hard so like everything else in this skill you have to develop the right touch for every situation.

I think I came out of the womb as a car guy. Started learning auto body at 15. Did it for 50 years while fitting in a 42 year postal career.Love Life!
