My family has had a tough few weeks my uncle Joe passed, my Aunt Monica passed(not husband and wife) and my niece miscarried. Please keep our family in your prayers through this time. Thank you.

Yesterday I was reading my uncle Joes Obituary and saw a post from my aunt Monica. She simply said “I’m coming Joe!” She is battling cancer and has been given a short time. But that statement hit me, She Knows Jesus and understands where she will soon be. So amazing! That understanding helps the rest of us keep the proper perspective as we walk through this life. I know it does for me. Not to worry about the days to day just follow him and trust the here and now with the promise of eternity in our hearts and minds.

As I read today’s devotional I think about an uncle who passed away last week and wonder where his heart was at. He was a diligent worker for his family and followed his passion his whole life. I ask for prayer as I will be traveling for funeral services and also for another family member who was given only a few weeks to live having pancreatic cancer. My Uncle is no longer suffering and I am hopeful that he is with Jesus now. My Aunt is suffering and I ask our Father God to give her strength and keep her out of pain while she waits to be home with Jesus.
